He started off a little rough, but once he got in his groove he was on fire. He rocked emcee after emcee to get to the finals, where he practically made Sosh beg for mercy. By the end, even Sosh was cheering for L-Mo to win it!

If you don’t already know, Madness is a Grindtime Champion Freestyle Emcee. This man knows how to rock a mic. And when he steps on the Tourettes stage, he’s gonna make sure you remember who he is.

For the March 2010 Tourettes he had a feature set, performing 4 songs from his albums, and then freestyling with Tantrum to insult 5 unlucky audience members.

• The show started with a round of pants-off musical chairs by the very reluctant judges who nearly got boo’d off stage.
• The dirty haiku battle was a HUGE upset, with reining champ Tatyana finally being deposed by Rachel Warner!
• The slam had a strong showing, but real-life military sniper Steve Zook brought the house down and took home the money.
• Stand up comedy by a 15-year-old and some crazy contests ensued, ending with one man taking a shot of new mother Hezzie’s breast milk.
• Syzygy rocked the mic with Asher and a guitarist.
• The New Eccentrics presented the magical story of Splenda the (goth) Unicorn.
• Rocky Roulette pogo’d his clothes off for all the ladies in the house.
• Battle heavyweight Madness stole the spotlight for his feature set, pounding out his lyrics and getting the crowd pumped.
• Tantrum and Madness had a freestyle insult round, tearing down 5 unlucky suckers from the audience.
• First-timer L-Mo beat out Sosh at the last minute in the battle. It was a great round, and Sosh is shaping up to be a serious competitor, making it to the finals his first two times at Tourettes.

• Dirty Haiku Battle: Hezzie vs. Jason Bayani. Hezzie mopped the floor with him.
• Poetry Slam: Joyce, Jen and D. Silence laid it all out and put on a great show for the crowd.
• Spanking contests, nerf darts and short films brought the ruckus throughout the night.
• Isis Starr put on an especially dirty burlesque show, featuring every toy she owns…
• The Sex Ed Squad returned, this time informing the audience about the dangers of the internet, and enlightening them with some new and interesting positions.
• The Scalesman closed out the night with his trademark vicious comedy. He closed the night, however, with a touching “I love you”, and for once he actually meant it.

Fuck Valentine’s Day only comes once a year. Don’t miss it in 2011!

• Dirty Haiku Battle: Tatyana wins *yet another* Golden Cock.
• D. Silence terrified a 14-year-old boy in Black History Month Trivia.
• Saint rocked the house and won the Tourettes Slam, coming all the way from Martinez to go home with the title.
• Lady X showed us her biggest fan… literally! A hot fan dance was just the thing to get the crowd excited.
• Joshua Walters performed a comedy set that left the audience roaring with laughter and confused out of their minds.
• Dildo Football erupted in the middle of the Metro. No rules girl-on-girl action that nearly broke bones (and the Metro’s bar!).
• To start off the second half the audience split in half for a toilet paper war, with the team showing the most nudity getting to take the first shot!
• Kalrissian took the stage, with their coke habit and malted swill. Those guys really know how to dominate a stage.
• Subverse… I mean, Tyrone Shoelaces… jumped into the battle only to take the title away from Sosh, who made it all the way to the finals his first time at Tourettes.

If 2010 keeps up like this then December is gonna leave people dead on the floor!

A house full of crazy people warmed things up on a very cold night at the Oakland Metro. Some of the highlights:

• Dirty Haiku Battle: Tatyana beats Greg in a vicious match that could’ve gone either way.
• Stephen Meads wins the Tourettes Slam for his first time ever! Go Mr. Mascot!
• A massive game of pants-off musical chairs gets violent. Asses hit the floor, beers were spilled, but Dre came out the winner!
• Comedians SAMMY OBEID and KRIS TINGLE had the audience rolling.
• An innocent little beer-squirting contest turned into a full-on lapdance competition involving Jamie’s GRANPARENTS!
• Naughty charades gave Kitten on The Keys a good warmup before she rocked the house (with Sis keeping time on Kitten’s sexy cheeks…)
• True Temper and Illusion Z battled out one of the funniest final rounds of all time, using compliments instead of insults to settle this monster battle.

A great start to the year. 2010 is looking good!

Exactly one year ago, at the 2008 Christmas Tourettes, True Temper first stepped on stage, and Vokab took him out in the first round. Now, 12 months have passed, and after battling almost every month the tables have turned and True Temper defeated Vokab to take home the prize money and Sis’ famous golden cock trophy!
